His QF Value Tips service starts off at £1.99 for 15 days too. After that, it is £17 per month. It seems to be cheaper because it provides fewer tips. 36 per month compared to 88 on the main service.

As we have seen, his average profits are over £200 each month. So, there appears to be scope to come out ahead. But before we can say this for certain, we need to take a closer look. Will you make money based on what we can see?

Will You Make Money?

There is no doubt that Quentin Franks has made money in the past. He has a good, solid record of wins. This is no guarantee of the future, of course. But tipsters with great records are worth looking closely at. Quentin seems to have found ways of winning regularly over a long time.

A closer look shows that Betting Gods carried out proofing on him. This was done over 18 weeks in 2014, before he went public. Since then, his record has been excellent. His starting bank of 200 points has grown by 764.67%.

For instance, at the time of writing, he has covered the 2020 USA PGA Championship. At the start of the article, you can see his each way tips. He mentions 6 players and the number of points he suggests putting on them.

There is then a long article analysing the main contenders. He is clearly an expert on the sport and makes a lot of good points. This is the sort of betting service where you can just stick money on his picks if you prefer. He always offers sensible tips that are well researched. It is clear that Ben puts a huge amount of effort into his tips.

But, you could also use it more like educational content. You will find out a lot about the current form and historical factors. This means that you can learn more about each tournament’s favourites.

Therefore, it makes sense if you want to learn about the tournaments. You can then look at his tips and see if you agree with him on one or more of them. On this basis, who does it suit? Probably someone who loves golf and wants to become an expert. But it is also a decent choice for someone looking to follow easy tips.

I saw him noted as the most profitable golf tipster in 2020. According to Betting Kingdom, Ben has earned £3,625 to date. This is based on £10 per point. Those are great figures and it will be interesting to see how he ends the year.

OLBG Golf Tipsters

The OLBG site provides free tips on different sports. Their golf section typically covers the most popular, high-profile tournaments.

The site points out that they have 25 tipsters with level stakes profits. This figure is from the start of 2020. In addition, their top 6 tipsters have profits of over 30 points.

You start by choosing an event. At the time of this research, the Ryder Cup is at the top of the list. I can see that 7 out of 9 tipsters picked Europe to win. 1 picked the USA and the other went for a tie. Below this summary, you can read more about the tournament.

For the US Open, most tipsters have opted for Tiger Woods. But it would be nice to see some more comments from them. A few tipsters don’t say anything. Others just put some short comments beside their selections.

The information isn’t really as in-depth as what we have seen on some other sites. But it is good to see how many tipsters choose each option. You can also look at the site’s top tipsters list, although there are few golf experts on it.

SJP Golf Tips

This highly thought of tipster can be seen on Sports Betting Stars. He is also active on Twitter. How do his results stack up?

To be fair, his results are good so far. He is said to have a 45 point profit per month. And on 4 different months he got over 100 points. He gave his first tips out at the start of 2015. Since then, he has a profit of more than £10,000 from £10 bets.

He was second in that list of 2020’s best golf tipsters mentioned earlier. With £435 profit, he was quite far being Ben Coley.

SJP sends tips to your inbox. So all you need to do is follow the instructions. The first 14 days of the service are free. After that, it costs £29.99 each month. You can also pay £79.99 a quarter or £299.99 for a full year.

His record is very good, but the service is expensive. A look back at his full results is interesting. There are very few negative months. This is good news, but you could still lose money. It is a risk with any type of tipster.

This seems like an option for someone looking for an easy approach. You just need to look out for his emails. You also need a decent bank to cope with any losing bets.

The Golf Profiteer

This is the resident golf expert on Tipster Street. He looks at US and European tour events. His tips are based on 2 points, with 1 point each way. Anyone who signs up gets an average of 8 tips each week.

So far so good, what are his results like? The details on Tipster Street give a £2,903 profit since January 2020. The strike rate is 12.34% and the ROI is 7.13%. He recommends that you start with a bank of £500. The recommended stake per point is £10.

The Golf Profiteer turns an overall profit. But not all of his months are profitable. You can expect a bit of an up and down performance with him. His best month was +87.52 and his worst was a loss of 52.33 points.

The monthly cost is £10, although the first month is just £2. You can also pay £25 a quarter or £85 for a full year of the service.

Which One Should You Choose?

As we have seen, there are various factors to take into account. We can’t simply compare one tipster to another. They each have different approaches. So it more about choosing the method that you prefer.

Do you prefer to just get a straight tip? Or would you like to get all of the information you need to make a decision? Another alternative is to look for loopholes that let you get value bets.

The truth is that everyone needs to make their own choice. This is why each of these services is popular. There are enough people out there who want to try each approach.

This system lets you quickly see which leagues to focus on. Clearly, the green tick is what you want to see. If you choose one with a green warning sign you will want to do some research. The red warning sign leagues are best avoided. In some leagues, there will be no suitable bets. In other cases, you might have options on all of the matches.

Trade Your Bets 10 Year Database

If you click on the + sign next to a league it will open up. This shows you the games taking place, including the teams and the kick-off time.

You will also see 7 columns for each match. These are Home / Draw / Away / BTS / O 1.5 / 0 2.5 / O 3.5. There are the different markets that you can trade on. If a certain one isn’t recommended, it will show an x. A tick is used to show that it is a good trading prospect.

The bets are calculated on 1 year, 3 year and 10 year data.  Each is shown with an individual tick, cross or question mark. The three sets of data often coincide, but not always. Finally, the current Betfair price is shown at the bottom. As this changes during the day, the green ticks may appear and disappear.

The set-up is pretty simple. It looks kind of basic and maybe even a bit old-fashioned. Yet, there is no doubt that the information is useful and clearly presented. For many people, this will be more important than the style aspect.

Further down the member’s area, some different picks are listed. At the time of this Trade Your Bets review, I could see a decent amount of variety. We will look at them now.

The website recommends using the KLOver selections as set-and-forget bets or as trades. These are very simple trades based on the Over 2.5 goals market. It is clearly explained how to get out with a profit, provided at least one goal is seen.

David’s ‘ESTW’ (Either Side To Win) selections are also recommended on the site. This is where you use the lay the draw strategy. Like the previous picks, they are simple to place.

Another option is to look at the 10-year database. Simply following the green ticks shows you the games to bet on. Ideally, a match will have a series of three of these ticks. This will give you more confidence to bet on it.

They also say that the customer support is excellent. I didn’t test this, and I couldn’t see any feedback from other members.

Who Is Behind It?

The Trade Your Bets site is run by a man called Kevin Laverick. He describes himself as a professional football trader. Kevin says that in 2016 he decided to completely switch to trading. He had seen that the bookies had swung the market too far in their favour.

As for his background, he mentions a degree in Pure Maths and Statistics. Kevin also mentions working with Steve Brown at Goal Profits. Together, they developed the algorithms that the system uses.

Kevin says that he has been using Betfair since it started. He mentions 2005 as being the key year in which he realised how to make a profit from it.

As a youngster, he loved playing football. Yet, he ended up working as a chartered surveyor. When he tried Betfair in 2000, he lost £40,000 in 4 years at first. He learned how to trade. Then he started blogging about strategies and went back to Betfair in 2005.

You might see it mentioned that he has also sorted up Value Football Betting. This looks like the same site, with the name changing to Trade Your Bets as some point in the past. But the way it works is now different, so it isn’t just a name change.

You can still see the database from the earlier service. But it probably suits someone who is happy doing a lot of research. It isn’t as simple to use as the new site is.

Kevin also works as a tipster on some other sites. For example, he is mentioned a lot in connection with Goal Profits. However, it appears that Trade Your Bets is his main focus right now.

How Much Does It Cost?

The monthly cost at the date of this Trade Your Bets review is £25. If you sign up for a quarter it is £65. A full year costs £200. You can pay by PayPal or Skrill, with the former recommended on the site for ease.

You can cancel at any time, although no refund options are stated. So I think you just stop your membership in terms of future payments. There is no free trial either, so you need to sign up for at least a month.

As for the starting bank, a figure of £1,000 is mentioned as being ideal. It is pointed out that some members have started with £500 or less. However, £1,000 will give you the basis for 100 points at a value of £10 each. It probably isn’t worth paying for if you don’t have a decent bank to use.

Will You Make Money?

The variables here make it impossible to put a figure on potential profits. For a start, there are lots of different trades to choose from every day. You won’t be placing them all. So, it depends which ones you choose to place. You might get lucky and choose the day’s best bets, or make a poorer decision.

Then the exact strategy comes into play. Will you cash out at the right time or not? The site gives no indication on potential profits to base this Trade Your Bets review on.

One thing that is shown is the record for a certain selection of games. It is pointed out that 12 out 12 selections won on Danish games a certain day. This led to a 14.36 profit. This is impressive, but is it likely on a regular basis?

We will look in a moment at other Trade Your Bets reviews. The concept of finding winning trades sounds good. But most people probably want some solid profit estimates to go with.

I could see mention of the set and forget Over 2.5 goals tips. They say that the bank on here increased by 22% in the first month using them. This was February 2020, but the lockdown straight after this put it on hold.

There is also a summary of the double and treble bets from James Leadbetter. He apparently tripled his bank with the tips he shares. The other section is David Heaton’s bets and trades. 121.84 points and a 29.43% profit was gained in the first two months. The key is in using Betfair to make trades. You will need an account with this exchange. It is their prices that are shown on picks. However, not all of the tips need a trading approach.

The use of simple bets you can place with a bookie adds more variety. These are what they call set and forget bets. They are faster and simpler to place than trades on the exchange. However, it is pointed out that your account might get restricted if you are successful.

There is nothing to suggest that Trade Your Bets is a scam. It seems to be an honest, reliable service. The big question is whether you can make money. This is where seeing some Trade Your Bets reviews might have helped.

Overall, there isn’t enough information out there to decide what people think about it. A lack of Trade Your Bets reviews leaves us short of information. However, the only real worry I have is over the amount of the profits.

This Betrush review looks at a site that promises lots of picks. They do this by bringing together many tipsters. You can choose from free or paid tips.

Will they increase your chances of beating the bookies? I had a good look at the service, to find out the answer. Let’s see what I found out.

What Is Betrush?

To put it simply, Betrush gives you a selection of picks from tipsters. When you first open the site, a huge amount of information jumps out at you. For a start, there is a long list of free picks. Everything you need to place a bet is right there on the home page.

Another section mentions Premium Picks, which cost money. We can also take a look at the tipsters. Then there is a list of bookies and some information on bonuses. If you are new to sports betting some of the details are quite useful.

I could see a few different sports covered. The odds and type of bet also vary quite a lot. The use of many different tipsters helps to add variety here too.

It is a promising start. If you want to see lots of tips, that is exactly what you will find. Let’s go a bit deeper in this Betrush review and see what exactly they offer.

What Does It Provide?

The home page starts off with the Betrush Top 5. It turns out that these are their top tipsters. They are listed in three categories; all-time, last 90 days and this month. At the time of researching this Betrush review, no one was on more than one list.

The figures for these tipsters are decent but not spectacular. I will look at them in depth a bit later in the review.

The next section is called Active Picks. These are tips for games today in the next few days. I could see about a dozen for today (it is quite late in the day). Then there were 4 already up for tomorrow as well. So a shortage of tips doesn’t look like being a problem here. In fact, choosing the best ones is probably a bigger issue.

Each tip has the following headings.

• Game. A symbol at the start shows you the sport, followed by the name of the participants. I could see mainly football, with UFC and some baseball. The variety was quite good, with footie from Italy, Brazil, the Faroe Islands and Sweden coming up.
• Pick. This tells you what to bet on. Some are straight home/away or draw bets. Others cover over/under goals, both to score etc.
• The tipster. You can see who is offering the tip. This gives you a link to their own profile. I could see a variety of tipsters, rather than just the same names on all the tips.

If you click on the game link, you can see a preview of it. The previews are decent but don’t really suggest inside knowledge. In the main, they seem to have been put together by someone who has done some research. So, they offer a reasonable starting point. Other users can also add in comments below the preview.

After that, we can see the list of how recent tips worked out. For this Betrush review, I counted roughly 50% correct predictions and 50% wrong. On the face of it, those results aren’t too bad. Hovering over each one shows the odds on the bet too.

Most of the successful bets were at pretty short odds. I didn’t see any stand-out successes. It seemed to be more of a case of earning small profits fairly regularly.

Down the side, I could see In Focus. These are links to blogs on their site. They seem to publish about one a day or a bit less some weeks. The subjects are fairly interesting to be fair. But a few more posts would be nice. Some of them are also pretty general filler content about sports betting and offers.

If you are looking for in-depth analysis, you won’t find it here. These are light, interesting articles that may help you get a general feel for a sport. But you won’t pick up any great insights, I would suggest.

They also have links to bookies and to a couple of other betting services. This is usually a sign that the site is an affiliate. It isn’t a guarantee of it being a scam or unreliable. But it does suggest that they earn money from bookies. This could mean that their main interest is in simply get you to place bets.

It works by giving the website owner commission on the bets you place. So the more wagers you make the better for them. This is a common enough system on tipster sites. However, it should make you wonder about their motives. Does it suit them to just fill the place with as many tips as they can?

The Premium Picks part of the site is where you can pay for tips from “carefully selected tipsters”. Betrush say that this is a profitable service running since 2011. You need to pay a subscription fee for these picks, which I will look at in a moment.

Betrush Verified is the section of the site where past results are verified. Basically, it is a tipster proofing service. Finally, a Betting Forum is where you can discuss a range of betting matters with other members.

Who Is Behind It?

The Betrush site doesn’t provide a lot of details about the people behind it. They seem to be based in Bulgaria. A couple of forum posters mention the person who is possibly the owner. But I couldn’t see this confirmed anywhere.

They have a Twitter account but with no recent activity. It was started in 2010 but nothing has been posted since 2019. They have just under 1,000 followers. It’s a similar story on Facebook.

It would be nice to know more about the people behind it. This is always a way of feeling more confident about a betting site. However, I guess it’s the tipsters that really matter in this case. Can we find out more about them?

Clicking on a tipster give you details of their stats. You can also see their chosen avatar, which is usually a club badge, favourite player etc. I couldn’t find out anything about the people behind the tips.

Does this lack of transparency matter? It might to some people and not to others. I guess it just depends upon whether you like to know who is giving you tips. Some people have accused this site of using computer-generated tipsters. I can’t confirm or deny this, due to the scant information provided.

How Much Does It Cost?

We have seen in this Betrush review that most tips are free. It seems that they mainly make their money from affiliate fees by sending members to bookie sites.

The Premium Picks section is where you need to subscribe. This costs from €9.90. For this price, you get access to all of their tips.

The €9.90 price is for 7 days of access. 1 month costs €29.90 and 3 months €79.90. 6 months has a price of €149.90.

Will You Make Money?

With so many tips on here, you need to be selective. If you adopt a scattergun approach and select lots of them, you are unlikely to win much.

The key is in finding a method that helps you. An example is if you investigate the tipsters. You might find one that you trust. Perhaps they have a strong record on certain types of bet or game.

Another approach is to use the tips to back up your own feelings. You might have an idea what to bet on. Finding a tipster here for that same game can help you to make up your mind.

A look at the recent picks earlier in this Betrush review suggested a 50% strike rate. I decided to look at a few individual tipsters. Their tip all-time tipsters is called fpicks00 and had a total profit of 1181.3. They have only been sending 1 tip each month in recent times. This means big swings, from a 100% monthly loss to profits over 60%.

Perhaps a better example comes from FollowMe. This is the top tipster in the last month. They have a total of 1066 picks. This has given a yield of +2% and a profit of +242.6 over close to 5 years.

The highest on the list in the last 90 days is franeq. This tipster has over 90 picks to their name. A +17% yield and +136.1 profit is pretty decent. But the sample size is still quite small.

The service has over 700 tipsters just now. If you randomly choose your bets, I reckon you are more likely to lose money than win it. Picking the right tipster could reverse this situation. But it still feels like a bit of guesswork. None of the tipsters really convinced me that they are experts who will consistently win me money.

Their paid tipster service is fairly expensive. They say that it has provided more than 15,000 picks since 2011. It is also said to be “proven profitable”. But no figures are mentioned to back that up.

The Premium Picks are partially hidden until you pay for the service. All you can see is the date of the match and the tipster. When I looked, there was 3 for tomorrow and 2 for the next day.

Also listed are recent wins but not losses. There are usually a few wins each day but it isn’t clear how many bets lose. These picks seem to be mainly on football, from different countries and markets. They say that they only use Pinnacle and the main Asian bookies on these picks.

Most of the listed picks came from tipster abdulalhazred. I had a look at this tipster’s profile. They have a yield of +4% and a profit of +39.1. This is on close to 900 tips over the last year. Average odds are 1.94.

I can’t see anything to justify the price of Premium Picks. They may be more selective than their free tips. But it still feels like a bit of a scattergun approach. They choose fairly low odds, so a reasonably high strike rate is to be expected. There is no clear sign that these are expert tips worth paying for.

How Many Bookies and How Many Sports / Markets Are Included?

The Betrush website confirms that they cover “popular sports as football / soccer, basketball, tennis, hockey and more”. The others include tennis, snooker and UFC.

At the time of this Betrush review, most of the upcoming games are in football. These cover many different leagues and cups around the world. I guess their tipsters come from all over. Which means that it makes sense that they have varied expertise.

In terms of bookies, the home page has a list of 12 of them. They include the likes of Bet365, Betsafe and Rivalo. So it is a mixture of big names and others that aren’t so well-known. Click on “see all” to see a total of over 30 of them.

Presumably, most of their tips use these bookmakers. For this Betrush review I checked out quite a few of them. The only bookie mentioned not on their list appeared to be BetVictor. But clicking on the bet still took me to the bookie’s own site.

They use Pinnacle and Bet365 a lot. I guess this comes down to the tipster’s choices. The paid picks are mainly on Pinnacle who do not ban winning players.

What Are Other Betrush Reviews Saying About It?

This service has been around for quite a few years now. So I was hoping to see a lot of Betrush reviews. Yet, there isn’t a lot of solid information to go on.

A couple of short, positive reviews don’t go into many details. Other Betrush reviews call it a scam but don’t back it up with any evidence. This is where they even claim the tipsters are computer-generated.

In short, there are no truly independent Betrush reviews. They either swing too much one way or the other. It would have been nice to see someone use the site for a while and track their results.

Will You Get Gubbed Using Betrush?
